About
Executive
20 years of experience working at Cirque du Soleil and 10 of those years as an executive: high pressure and high stakes environment with, mostly, rather "fluid" parameters. In the process Benoit has developed thriving relationships with international business and creative partners, bridging cultural and operational mores, from Rio to Tokyo, through Berlin and New York.
Strategic Advisor
Numerous years working out strategic plans, organizational transformations and implementation scenarios at Cirque du Soleil and with a number of for-profit and non-profit organizations and projects.
Inspirational Leader
Benoit relates equally well with c-suite members and front line employees, creating environments that invite people to put their best self forward, tapping into the "secret vein" of potential they hold. He also has a talent to rally people around a common goal.
Translational Educator
A strong knack for tackling complex topics, senses out underlying patterns and potential, asks key questions that challenge current assumptions, whittles down issues to a manageable size and conveys them to others in a clear, relatable and actionable way.
High Level Project Manager
Expertise in managing (and delivering to exacting standards) multimillion dollar projects with artistic, logistical and business imperatives, successfully delivering large scale productions and organizational transformations.
Instructor
Collaboration with a Montreal-based non-profit called Écoscéno providing ecodesign training to people of the cultural sector.
Business owner
In a spirit of diversification, and with the aim of enhancing the landscape of the local economy, Benoit and his wife Dany purchased an ex-bank branch building and are in the process of turning it into a small complex housing a cafe, an eco-tourism venture, rental offices and an event space. His main roles are linked to designing and building the spaces and functions of the complex.
Involved Citizen
